The short version

Figgy keeps your meal plans, lists and recipes on your iPhone.

We don't sell your data. We don't show ads. We don't track you across other apps or websites.

You don't need an account to use Figgy.

What stays on your iPhone

Your household size, meals, foods you can't eat or don't like, budget, plans, shopping lists, saved recipes and spending notes stay on your iPhone. We can't see them.

Reminders are set on your iPhone. They don't go through our servers.

Store prices and your ZIP code

To find stores near you, Figgy sends your ZIP code to our price server. The server asks Kroger for nearby stores and sends the list back. We don't keep your ZIP code.

Figgy saves the store you pick on your iPhone. To get prices, Figgy sends that store and a list of foods to our price server, and the server asks Kroger. We don't keep the prices or the food list.

Our price server limits how many requests each phone can make. To do this, it uses a random install code made by the app, or your IP address for a short time.

Your Ralphs or Kroger cart

If you send your list to your cart, you sign in on Kroger's own page. Kroger gives Figgy a key that lets it add items to your cart. That key is kept in your iPhone's Keychain. We don't see your Kroger password.

Kroger's privacy policy covers what Kroger does with your cart and account.

If you sign in with Apple

Signing in is optional. It lets you back up Figgy and get it back on a new iPhone.

If you sign in, we store a code from Apple that stands for your account, and a copy of your Figgy data. Figgy doesn't ask Apple for your name or email.

This data is stored with Cloudflare, the company that runs our servers.

To delete it, go to You, then Account, then Delete account. This removes your account and your backup from our servers right away.

Recipes you import

When you import a recipe from a website, your iPhone opens that page itself. The page's owner may see that request, like any website visit.

Payments

If you subscribe, Apple handles the payment. We don't see your card. Apple tells us if your subscription is active.

Crash reports

If you choose to share app data with developers in your iPhone settings, Apple may send us crash reports. They don't include your name.

Kids

Figgy is not made for children under 13. We don't knowingly collect data from children.

Your rights

You can delete everything at any time. Delete the app to remove what's on your iPhone. Use Delete account to remove your backup from our servers.

If you live in California or another place with privacy laws, you can ask what we have about you or ask us to delete it. Email us and we will reply within 30 days.

Changes

If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top. If a change is big, we will tell you in the app.
